How Bean fits a working day.

The scenarios below are illustrations of how Bean's live modules could be used. They are not customer stories, and the businesses described are not real.

Scenario · not a customer story

Retail and food service: a café with a counter POS and an online store

The owner registers the counter point of sale and the online store as two integrated applications. Each sale they report deducts the matching SKU, so the morning stock check starts from the right numbers. When the oat milk count hits zero, the inventory list says None on hand.

Distribution: a stockroom with scanners and several staff

Stockroom counts arrive as inventory.adjusted events. Staff are members of the organisation with only the permissions they need, and the operations lead reviews the audit log to see who changed which item and when.

Multi-entity: two related businesses, kept apart

A founder runs a supply business and a retail business as two organisations in Bean. One sign-in switches between them; each has its own members, stock and integrations, and neither can see the other's records.
